FarmHouse Steals the Show at Annual Greek Awards Banquet

Stillwater, Okla., April 9th, 2008 -- FarmHouse Fraternity received top honors at the annual Greek Awards Banquet held April 9th, 2008 at the Student Union Ballroom. Nineteen fraternities are recognized by the Interfraternity Council (IFC) at Oklahoma State, and for the 34th time, FarmHouse came out on top and was recognized as the Darrel "Dean" Troxel Most Outstanding Fraternity. FarmHouse won four of the five categories on the Troxel application this year, winning the top prize in the categories of Scholarship, Campus Relations, Campus Involvement, and Community Service. FarmHouse also brought home the Thomas M. Keys Most Outstanding Pledge Class Award. This award has been won by FarmHouse 23 times in its 28 year history. Andrew Henry was nominated for Oustanding Greek New Member and Kyle Ensley was recognized at the Outstanding Greek Junior at the banquet.

 

2007 Grade Report Released: FarmHouse On Top, Again

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) released the semester grade reports this week and the men of FarmHouse Fraternity again came out on top with a grade point average of 3.43.  FarmHouse competed against 18 other fraternities for the top honor.  Last semester, FarmHouse clinched first place with a 3.33 grade point average.  With the first place ranking for both Spring and Fall 2007 semester grades, FarmHouse will also win the IFC Scholarship Cup for the  year.  This award will be given during the annual Greek Awards Banquet in March.  This will mark the 74th time that FarmHouse has won the award in its 80 year history at Oklahoma State University.
